Art, History + Architecture = Fabulous Wedding
Location is everything when choosing a wedding venue, it can make the biggest difference in the overall aesthetic and feel of your wedding, not to mention make for killer wedding photos! That’s why I love when couples decide to have their wedding at a venue that is visually interesting such as art museums, galleries, historic buildings, or any place with interesting and grand architecture and design. The backdrop of the venue included adds so much to the story that a wedding can tell and best of all, the fabulous decor is free! I’ve chosen two of my favorite photographers to showcase how Art, History + Architecture in weddings make for a fabulous wedding.

Gorgeous photography by Stephanie Williams of the recent nuptials of Krista and Mike at Our Lady of Angels in Los Angeles, CA

The built in beauty of this LA cathedral is amazing!

The details of this venue are simply breathtaking.

Historical buildings are an added plus for ambiance and beauty, Krista and Mike’s Wedding Reception took place at the Fred Harvey Room in Union Station…what an awesome location

Although it is a historic landmark, Union Station is still a functioning train station today. Love the vintage vibe that the location was able to add to Krista and Mike’s photos!

Lin and Jirsa shot an engagement session at the Bowers Museum in Santa Ana, CA

The happy Wedding Party at the Santa Barbara Courthouse

This was a special venue and design shoot that Lin and Jirsa did at the Frank Lloyd Wright House. Stunning isn’t it?

The architecture here is just jaw dropping! It’s beautiful on its own but added with the decor and colors, it’s just amazing.

Wedding Reception at the Founder’s Hall in Soka University, the paintings in the background give the reception such a modern vibe!
