Happy Monday lovelies, I am so excited to share with you Terri and Coly’s engagement session!  They are so special to me not only because they are such a gorgeous and warm couple, Terri is also the sister of my best friend.  Their wedding will really be a labor of love for us because we are doing a wedding for one of our own.  I love when couples have a certain theme in mind that they carry through from the engagement session to the wedding…it makes the wedding that much more fun and memorable.  Can you guess what their theme is?  Seriously can’t wait for their wedding to come in March.  Until then, feast your eyes on their adorable engagement session, shot by the amazing Marianne Wilson.  Terri and Coly, March can’t come soon enough!

Tapered candles are the current obsession in the industry right now and quite frankly, I’m kind of loving them too.  There’s something that’s just so soft, romantic and “old world” about them that is just charming.  They are lovely to use but remember the fire codes that each venue has to see if they are fitting for your wedding design!  If all lights are a go, then please, pretty please, use this darling trend as much as you can.

Happy Monday and Happy New Year lovelies, we are officially in 2012!  Congratulations to all of the couples that have gotten engaged over the Holidays, it’s always the best and most magical time to commit one’s love to one another and we are so happy for you!  We are kicking off the year by sharing with you one of our June couple’s engagement photos.  Meet Christina and Rob, they met while attending school at Santa Clara University and even better, they’re thespians!  We have some really awesome design elements planned for them to share their heritage and love for drama for their wedding come June.  In the mean time, meet the lovely couple!  Special thanks to Jenna Lynn Photography for sharing these photos with us!

It’s New Years Eve and it’s time to ring in yet another amazing New Year!  Nothing screams celebrations and New Years like some silver and sparkle.  We are so thankful for all the wonderful clients that we’ve had this past year as well as all the friendships new and old.  2012 will be an amazing New Year; I’m excited and so grateful for all the love and support.  Here’s raising our glasses to all of you, may 2012 be even greater than 2011.  Celebrate safe and we will see you in 2012!

We are officially 5 days away from Christmas Day and we’ve had our hands full!  We had the distinct honor of planning and designing two holiday parties over the weekend.  They were very different in style and in client demographic but we love planning and designing so it was so much fun to create two different looks for a holiday party.  Here’s a snapshot of the festivities that we put together over the weekend.
