Real Weddings :: Confetti Party

charmeddate0909Our Labor of Love is one of my favorite photographers of all time.  They are so great at capturing moments in time; it’s absolutely insane how beautiful  their pictures turn out with just the right softness, color saturation and clarity.   This “Confetti Party” Wedding is the perfect example of why I love them so much.  The story behind this wedding is that Our Labor of Love was originally brainstorming of a photoshoot with fellow extraordinaire event designer, Joy Thigpen, and the photoshoot they envisioned became inspiration for them to throw a free wedding party for one lucky couple.  The result is jaw dropping, breath taking goodness.  How lucky the winning couple was to have such a fabulously designed and photographed wedding to keep in their memories forever!

Getting Ready

The color palette of this wedding makes me absolutely swoon!  The brightness and contrast of the retro colors with their respective pastel hues is just delicious.  All the flowers, paper and real alike, are absolutely perfect and the confetti just adds so much life to the visual design of this wedding.

Let’s Get Married!

freewedding2The multi-colored fabric streamers are so vintage and adorable!  It made the whole ceremony so warm!  I especially love all the paper flowers hanging on the walls and in the air, it’s so whimsical!  Doesn’t everyone look like they’re having so much fun?

Pictures + Poses

The lighting of these portraits are just so amazing!  It’s like a pastel rainbow pouring into all the photos, kind of reminds of skittles!

Desserts + Party

freewedding5Can the cake be any more amazing?  Love this last shot of the bride throwing her bouquet.  I think it captures the essence of the joy and happiness that she felt that day.
