Perfect Little White Dresses

Maybe because we’re full blown in the Summer Wedding Season, but I am totally loving all the little white dresses that are popping up. For those of you that know me, you know that you will always find me in a dress. More often than not, it’ll be a short (appropriately so) dress because I can’t deny that I just love dresses! Of course there are the ultra glam or ultra romantic long dresses that we all love, but since it’s warm and sunny out, just wanted to share with you my current love for brides who choose a dress to walk down the aisle to with a slightly shorter hem. There’s a certain freedom and effortless whimsy that you feel when you see these Brides in their frocks and that’s precisely why I love this summer trend so much!

Just because it’s short in the front, doesn’t mean that it has to be short all around! Love this dress that one of my favorite models, Anja Rubik, wore for her wedding.

Behind the Scenes at Vera Wang’s 2012 Bridal Runway Show

I love Vera Wang. I love fashion and fashion shows, that is my background after all. What could be better than a combination of the two? Vera Wang shared the backstage Behind the Scenes experience at her 2012 Bridal Runway Show and it rocks. Love seeing how they prep for a show with all the hair, the make-up, the runway practice and the show itself, pretty reminiscent of how an actual wedding day goes! Have a peak and enjoy!

Hello lovelies, it’s intern Melissa here! My wedding do’s for this week is to not be afraid to choose a patterned theme to go along with your wedding or event color scheme. It can be fun and add some extra “umph” to your wedding design and event!

Striped patterns are pleasing to the eyes and are so diverse. They can be used in just about any wedding detail you can think of – dresses, flowers, cakes, linens, stationery, trims…well, you get the idea. Another great thing about stripes is that they come in a variety of styles, widths and fun combinations of colors. You can have thick, bold and colorful stripes or thin, classic and preppy stripes. Either way, they are sure to show off any couple’s personality when used in any amount.
