Sunday Charm : Inspirations from Coco Rochas Wedding Gown

Coco Rocha is one of my favorite models on the runway because she has so much personality and literally, loves life! She recently got married in a way that only she could do : Get married in a French Castle, Designer collaboration with Zac Posen on Bridal Gown, jetsetting to two honeymoons in Corsica and Costa Rica. How much more fabulous can it get? The only picture released of her wedding day was this gorgeous photo of her in her dress, smooching her new hubby. It was so beautiful, we just had to find some inspirations based off it!

Seriously, how amazing is this designer dress on the the steps in France?

With such a statement dress like hers, I think a soft, light palette of colors in blushes and nudes is perfect!

Fragrance by Coco Chanel has to make an appearance alongside good friend, Jimmy Choo.

I imagine a decadent spread of pink and modern, savory sweets that Marie Antoinette would have approved of.

A Private Dinner Party for Christmas

Christmas is over, but that doesn’t mean the party images need to stop! We had the pleasure of planning a Private Dining Christmas Dinner for a group of 18 guests last week on December 22, 2009 and spirits were high as everyone attended and anticipated for the holiday festivities to come! We held the event at LB Steak in Santana Row and had a wonderful evening of dining and wining in their private dining room which featured a cozy fireplace. Enjoy!

Silver, jeweled Christmas Trees and Glass Vases holding cinnamon sticks and acorns adorned the table with hints of Christmas Reds from the classic Poinsettia flower.

Each guest had a classic, pink Kara’s Cupcake box waiting for them at their seat as a favor for them to take home, featuring Northern California’s premier “cupcakery” that uses local organic ingredients for their delectable delights.

Delicious passed hors d’oeuvres of Oyster shooters, mushroom bouche and Chicken Satay set the tone for the evening

Delicious Pumpkin Creme Brulee and Chocolate Fondant Cakes finished the evening beautifully

Thanksgiving Decor Recap

We’re back! After being on vacation and snorkeling off the Island of Culebra in Puerto Rico, I came back just in time to celebrate Thanksgiving with my family. Here are some images of the decor, dessert bar and tablescape that I designed for our Thanksgiving Dinner and Celebration. I hope you enjoy and thanks for being patient while I was away in Puerto Rico!

Guests were given home-made cookies wrapped in individualized boxes with amber ribbon as a sweet treat to take home

Paper Garlands with multi-colored paper leaves were hung for ambience

Amber colored linens were wrapped with green ribbons topped with golden leaf accents for each guest.
