The Magic of the First Look
There are many wedding traditions that brides stick to and have had engraved in their minds forever, such as the “Something new, something borrowed, something blue” tradition amongst many others. While some of those traditions stand true, some other traditions are slowly taking a turn to become new traditions. I’m sure you’ve all heard of the expression “It’s bad luck to see the bride before the wedding”, but now, the new twist in many modern weddings is to have that first look, or photo, of the couple before they walk down the aisle and say “I do”. I personally am a fan of The First Look, there is undoubtedly magic when the couple sees each other for the first time. It’s a magical moment filled of unspeakable emotion and words that is shared between the couple alone. I can’t think of a better way for a bride and groom to start their special day.
What do you think? Do you stay true to the tradition of not seeing each other before the ceremony, or are you fans of The First Look?

Well I’m very superstitious about wedding traditions like the ones you mentioned- but to me, this is more about the groom looking down the aisle and having that surprised, crazy-in-love look on his face as the bride is walking down it. I feel like when the couple sees each other first, they miss out on that. There’s something about the bride walking down the aisle that is so special- she keeps getting closer and closer to him until eventually someone gives her away and they take hands for the first time as soon-to-be husband and wife. So cheesy, I know!
