Virginia + Tim married at the Brazilian Room, Berkeley Hills, CA

We have been planning Virginia and Tim’s wedding for over a year now, and yesterday they were married at the Brazilian Room in the Tilden Regional Park, located in the Berkeley Hills.  It was a gorgeous day filled with bright sunshine which made the day ceremony and lunch reception all the more beautiful with the Hills as the natural backdrop.  The couple had a palette of light pink, fuchsia and black and since they were such foodies, decided to name their tables after their favorite restaurants from the US and Canada.  Aside from planning the wedding, we had the pleasure of designing the wedding as well by providing all the graphic design and decor elements for the Bride and Groom’s Big Day.

Have a look at the photos taken from our camera as we await the official photos from Jay Kelly Photography, it’s absolute pink bliss!

Custom Made programs, designed by Charmed Events Group, were passed out to guests as they walked down the Brazil Room walkway, which was lined with black lanterns filled with ivory and light pink rose petals.

The wedding arch and ceremony set up looked gorgeous against the Berkeley Hills greenery.

We got a candid shot of the Bride and her bridesmaids while they were taking photos prior to the ceremony

While the Bride was taking solo shots, the Bridesmaids were kind enough to flash a smile for us.  We loved their hot pink dresses!

We also got a smile from the Bride herself

The Bride and Groom chose to perform a sand ceremony during the wedding, they had the vase engraved with their initials and it absolutely made for a great keepsake of their special day after the difference colored sands were joined.

During cocktail hour, the guests had a chance to take polaroids of themselves and write a small message to give to the Bride and Groom.

Upon entering the reception room, guests had the fun of finding which “foodie” table they were assigned to.  To make things easier for the guests, we also created a map of where each table was to be located for better finding!

Here’s a close-up shot of some of the escort cards.  We sure had fun designing these!

The Brazil Room looked absolutely gorgeous with the colorful pinks accented by the white chairs and wooden floors and beams.

Personalized menus with each guests name served double duty as a place card and menu for lunch.

For centerpieces, we conceptualized curly willow trees so that the Bride and Groom could hang their engagement photos off of the branches as well as hanging crystals.  Floral Sunshine, based out of Portland, OR was kind enough to provide the floral elements for the wedding.  The designer is a relative of the Groom which made the flowers all the more special.

The Bride and Groom had a Sweetheart Table which gave them the intimacy of enjoying their first meal together as husband and wife.

Guests were given fortune cookies dipped in chocolate and sprinkles as a thank you favor for attending.  These were made from TLC from the Bride and her bridesmaids.

This is me with the Bride and Groom at the end of the day.

Congratulations again to Virginia and Tim!  Thank you so much for allowing us the pleasure of planning your special day!
